Dodge & RAM Excel in J.D. Power APEAL Study

The J.D. Power U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study analyzes driver satisfaction with their new vehicle purchase during the first 90 days of ownership. This study evaluates 40 attributes in 10 experience groups to determine which vehicles give new car owners the greatest experiences. Dodge and RAM have ranked high, year after year and the Heritage CDJR Harrisburg, Owings Mills & Parkville team isn't surprised by these results. Both brands are dedicated to crafting vehicles that car buyers will love, even once the honeymoon phase ends.

Dodge Domination

For the 4th year in a row, Dodge has ranked 1st in the mass-market brand category. No other domestic brand has ever held such a dominating streak. Dodge is also the only domestic brand to finish first in both the J.D. Power APEAL Study and J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) in the same year for mass-market brands. The Dodge Challenger received top honors in the midsize sporty car segment, flexing its American muscle heritage with modern convenience and inspiring performance.

RAM Rivalry

RAM also received high honors in the APEAL Study, taking second place for the 4th year in a row for mass-market vehicles. The admirable RAM 1500 claimed second place among large light-duty pickup trucks. Because the 1500 delicately balances brute strength with practical daily driving features, it's not surprising that so many new owners of this popular pickup truck are so satisfied.

Ready to find out why Dodge and RAM have swept the top two spots in J.D. Power APEAL Study mass-market brand rankings for the fifth straight year? Both brands have bucked the industry trend of declining customer satisfaction scores, with theirs increasing over 2022.
