Overview

The Jeep Gladiator is a fun and capable off-road vehicle that offers best-in-class maximum gas towing capacity and boasts a best-in-class maximum 4x4 payload. Drivers of the Jeep Gladiator will also enjoy best-in-class available ground clearance and best-in-class maximum diesel torque. The Jeep Gladiator meets any off-road challenge, whether towing jet skis to the beach or conquering rugged terrain in the mountains.

The Perfect Ride For…

Drivers who love iconic Jeep models like the Wrangler but who want extra towing capacity and a highly capable off-road SUV. The Jeep Gladiator is well-suited for off-road use and offers all the benefits of a pickup truck while still delivering the classic Jeep architecture and perks like removable doors. Drivers will conquer the trails just as easily as they will city streets in their 2023 Jeep Gladiator and will get to choose from ten different models.

Drive and Handling

The Jeep Gladiator houses a 3.6-liter V-6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb. ft. of torque. The six-speed manual transmission comes standard, but Jeep also offers an optional eight-speed automatic transmission. The Jeep reaches 0 to 60 in 7.2 seconds, which puts it in line with other vehicles in its class. Drivers may also upgrade to the diesel 3.0-liter V-6, which also reaches 260 horsepower but delivers an impressive 442 lb. ft. of torque.

The maximum towing capacity for a well-equipped Jeep Gladiator is 7,650 pounds. Drivers who don’t need that exceptional towing option can still tow up to a 4,000-pound trailer on the base model. The bed of the Jeep Gladiator can carry anywhere from 1,105 to 1,700 pounds. For fuel efficiency, the standard manual transmission offers 16 mpg city and 23 mpg highway. The automatic transmission offers the same city mileage but drops a notch to 22 mpg on the highway. The best fuel efficiency comes from the diesel option with 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.

Key Features

The designers of the Jeep Gladiator thought of just about everything for outdoor adventures and rugged utility. Drivers who tow regularly will love the ParkView rear backup camera, which displays a helpful grid on the monitor to help the driver align the truck easily and quickly when backing up toward a trailer.

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator offers several innovative storage options and safety features that make it easy to conquer unknown and rugged terrain with ease and comfort. Not only are the doors removable on the Gladiator, but it’s easy to stow and lock the seats, so they’re secure when the Gladiator is in motion. Drivers may want to upgrade to the heated seats and steering wheel, which add just the right amount of comfort on any road.

The Jeep Gladiator offers other modern conveniences, too, even though much of its tech is focused on making it easy to go off-roading. Owners can upgrade their Gladiator with a 7.0- or 8.4-inch display screen, which also features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Drivers may also use their Gladiator to charge just about any electronic device with two USB ports and a USB-C port located near the driver’s seat. The Gladiator is also available with a 115-volt outlet.

Drivers may upgrade their Gladiator with a variety of driver-assist features like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and rear parking sensors. Those who choose the Rubicon model will enjoy the front-facing camera, which helps drivers conquer complex trails or drive over rocks during off-roading.
