Jeep® and Dodge Win Big at SEMA

Take home one of the “hottest” vehicles today

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show may be over, but the team at Heritage CDJR Harrisburg, Owings Mills & Parkville is still celebrating. The Jeep® Wrangler was recognized as the “Hottest 4x4 SUV” on the floor for the seventh year in a row at this year’s Awards Breakfast, and the Dodge Charger was named the “Hottest Sedan.”

The Jeep Wrangler is the most Mopar®-modified vehicle, with 98 percent of vehicles outfitted with at least one Mopar® accessory. The Dodge Charger is also a popular vehicle for Mopar® customization with over 150 different parts and accessories available.

The brand’s booth at SEMA showcased some of the customization options available to customers in fourteen different modified vehicle exhibits, and brand representatives showed attendees hundreds of Mopar products throughout the 15,345 square-foot exhibit.

Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar®), FCA – Global, accepted the two SEMA awards, saying:

The SEMA Show and SEMA members play a critical role in identifying the hottest trends and rides in the vehicle customization industry, which is why winning a SEMA Award represents an important recognition for our company. Enthusiasts customize vehicles they love and feel passionate about, and we at Mopar are lucky to have such a great portfolio of vehicles within the FCA umbrella. FCA vehicles are the perfect canvas for our accessories and performance parts.

Jeep customers in the United States spend an average of $850 personalizing their vehicle, and Dodge Charger owners have countless options to personalize the world’s only four-door muscle car.

“The Dodge Charger is an iconic vehicle among muscle cars and is an example of how an already great vehicle can be made even greater through personalization and customization. There are hundreds of products available for consumers to enhance the performance and styling of their Dodge Chargers.” said SEMA President and CEO Chris Kersting.
